What types of automotive electronic modules do you repair?
We specialise in testing, repairing and replacing automotive electronic modules, including Engine Control Units (ECU/ECM/PCM), ABS modules, Body Control Modules (BCM), Transmission Control Modules (TCM), instrument clusters and other electronic control units.
How long does a repair take?
Our typical turnaround time is approximately 10 business days from receipt of your unit. More complex repairs or replacement parts may require additional time. We'll advise you if there are any delays.
Do your repairs come with a warranty?
Most of our electronic module repairs and replacements include a 12-month warranty, subject to the applicable warranty terms. Please confirm the coverage for your specific job.
Can I send my original module for repair?
Yes. You can send your module to us for inspection, testing and repair assessment however this should come with a clear diagnostics report. Our technicians will determine whether the unit can be repaired and advise you of the available options.
What is the difference between a repair and an exchange?
A repair involves fixing your original module and returning it to you. An exchange involves supplying a replacement or remanufactured unit, which may require programming or linking on installation.
Will a replacement ECU or BCM require programming?
Some replacement modules require programming or data cloning to match your vehicle. Where supported, we can transfer the necessary data from your original module to a compatible replacement to minimise additional programming requirements from your end.
Do I need to send my original unit for an exchange?
In many cases, yes. Your original module may be required for data cloning, compatibility checks or as an exchange core. Our team will confirm what is required for your specific needs.
Can you repair an ABS module with an internal fault code?
We can assess many ABS electronic and hydraulic faults. Repairability depends on the specific module and fault. Please provide the ABS part number and any diagnostic codes so our technicians can check the available options.
Do you accept modules sent from outside of Australia?
Yes. Customers can send eligible electronic modules to us from across Australia and the world. Contact our team for the correct shipping instructions before posting your unit.
What if my module tests fine but the vehicle still has a fault?
If our technicians cannot reproduce the reported fault during testing, the issue may involve the vehicle's wiring, power supply, sensors or other components. We'll provide our findings to help guide further diagnosis if needed.
